Subline(이하 "앱")은 사용자의 개인정보를 소중히 여기며, 개인정보 보호법 및 관련 법령을 준수합니다. 본 개인정보 처리방침은 앱이 다루는 정보와 그 처리 방법을 설명합니다.
2. 수집하는 정보
본 앱은 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다.
Subline은 회원가입, 로그인, 또는 어떠한 형태의 계정 생성도 요구하지 않습니다. 개발자는 별도의 서버를 운영하지 않으며, 사용자의 어떠한 데이터도 수집, 전송, 저장하지 않습니다.
사용자의 기기에만 저장되는 데이터:
- 재생목록(사용자가 추가한 파일에 대한 참조)과 폴더 구성
- 각 파일의 재생 위치(이어보기) 기록
- 생성된 자막과 분석 결과 캐시
- 자막 언어, 단축키 등 앱 설정
이 데이터는 전부 사용자의 Mac에만 저장되며 기기 밖으로 전송되지 않습니다. 앱은 사용자가 직접 추가한 미디어 파일에만 접근합니다(macOS 앱 샌드박스 적용).
3. 음성 인식
자막 생성은 Apple의 온디바이스 음성 인식 프레임워크로 기기 안에서만 처리됩니다. 사용자의 영상, 음성 파일 또는 그 내용이 개발자나 제3자의 서버로 전송되는 일은 없습니다.
4. 앱 내 구매
Subline Pro(월간 구독, 연간 구독, 평생 이용권) 구매는 Apple App Store를 통해 처리됩니다. 결제 정보(카드 번호 등)는 Apple이 처리하며 앱과 개발자는 이에 접근할 수 없습니다. 앱은 구매 여부와 구독 만료 시각만 확인하고, 무료 이용 한도 집계(누적 재생 시간, 자막을 만든 영상 수)는 기기에만 저장됩니다.
5. 네트워크 통신
- 언어팩 다운로드: 음성 인식 언어팩은 Apple 서버에서 다운로드됩니다(Apple 개인정보 처리방침 적용). 이 과정에서 사용자의 미디어 파일이나 식별 정보는 전송되지 않습니다.
- 구매 확인: Apple App Store와의 구매 상태 확인(Apple 개인정보 처리방침 적용).
- 그 외 어떠한 네트워크 통신도 하지 않습니다.
6. 제3자 서비스
본 앱은 제3자 분석 도구, 광고 네트워크, 또는 추적 서비스를 사용하지 않습니다.
7. 아동 개인정보
본 앱은 13세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다. 앱은 개인정보를 수집하지 않으므로 모든 연령대가 안전하게 사용할 수 있습니다.
8. 데이터 삭제
- 앱 내 설정 → 캐시 삭제로 자막 등 분석 캐시를, 설정 → 플레이리스트 전체 삭제로 재생목록을 삭제할 수 있습니다. 원본 미디어 파일은 삭제되지 않습니다.
- 앱을 삭제하면 앱이 저장한 모든 데이터가 함께 삭제됩니다.

본 개인정보 처리방침이 변경될 경우, 본 페이지를 통해 안내드립니다.

1. Overview
Subline ("the App") values user privacy and complies with applicable privacy laws and regulations. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how it is processed.
2. Information We Collect
This App does not collect any personal information.
Subline does not require registration, login, or any form of account creation. The developer operates no servers and does not collect, transmit, or store any user data.
Data stored only on your device:
- Your playlist (references to files you added) and folder organization
- Playback positions for resume
- Cached subtitles and analysis results
- App preferences such as subtitle language and skip intervals
All of this data lives only on your Mac and never leaves the device. The App can only access media files you explicitly add (macOS App Sandbox applies).
3. Speech Recognition
Subtitles are generated with Apple's on-device speech recognition framework, entirely on your Mac. Your video/audio files and their contents are never sent to the developer or any third-party server.
4. In-App Purchases
Subline Pro purchases (monthly subscription, yearly subscription, or lifetime unlock) are processed by the Apple App Store. Payment details (such as card numbers) are handled by Apple and are never accessible to the App or the developer. The App only checks whether a purchase is owned and when a subscription expires; the free-tier usage tally (total playback time and number of captioned videos) is stored only on your device.
5. Network Communication
- Language pack downloads: speech language packs are downloaded from Apple's servers (Apple's Privacy Policy applies). Your media files and no user-identifying information are transmitted in this process.
- Purchase verification: confirming purchase status with the Apple App Store (Apple's Privacy Policy applies).
- The App performs no other network communication.
6. Third-Party Services
This App does not use any third-party analytics tools, advertising networks, or tracking services.
7. Children's Privacy
This App does not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13. Since the App collects no personal information, it is safe for users of all ages.
8. Data Deletion
- Inside the App, Settings → Delete Cache removes analysis caches (subtitles, etc.), and Settings → Delete All Playlists removes the playlist. Your original media files are never deleted.
- Deleting the App removes all data the App has stored.
9. Changes
If this Privacy Policy is updated, changes will be announced on this page.
