For the Mac menu bar, iPhone and iPad

Copy it.
It lands in your calendar.

School newsletters, group chats, emails, posters. Copy the text or take a screenshot, and Calppak finds the events on your device. Check them, fix anything that's off, and add them to the calendar you choose.

10 free adds, shared across your devices. No sign-up, no server.

How it works

Copy, check, add. That's it.

It works the same way from the Mac menu bar and in the iPhone and iPad app.

On a Mac

  1. Copy text with a date, or press Control-Shift-Command-4 to capture part of the screen to the clipboard.
  2. Click Calppak in the menu bar or press Control-Option-Command-C to open it, then find the events in what you copied.
  3. Check each event and fix the name, time or place if needed. Leave out any you don't want.
  4. Pick a calendar and add them. You can also save an .ics file with Export .ics.

The first time, macOS may ask whether Calppak can paste from other apps. Choose Allow. Calppak reads the clipboard only when you open it or click Find.

On iPhone and iPad

  1. Copy text with a date, or take a screenshot as usual.
  2. Open Calppak and tap Paste, or tap Choose Screenshot and pick the screenshot.
  3. Check each event and fix anything that's off.
  4. Add them to the calendar you choose, or export an .ics file. Right after adding, Undo takes them back.

The Paste button never asks for permission, and Calppak reads the clipboard only when you tap it.

On your device

Found on your device. Only what you check gets added.

One notice with several dates? Calppak finds them all at once.

Found on your device

Vision reads the text in screenshots, Apple's date detector finds dates and times, and the on-device Apple Intelligence model names the events.

Checked before it's added

Fix the name, time, place or repeat of any event. Calppak also points out dates that have already passed or don't match the weekday in the text.

Into the calendar you choose

Add to any calendar you can edit on this device, like iCloud, Google or Exchange, or export an .ics file. Right after adding, you can undo.

Your text and screenshots never leave your device

Finding dates happens entirely on this device. Calppak sends nothing over the internet; only purchases go through Apple's App Store.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does my text leave this device?

No. Reading screenshots and finding dates both happen on this device. Calppak has no account and no server, and the app sends nothing over the internet. The privacy policy has the details.

How do I bring in a screenshot?

On a Mac, press Control-Shift-Command-4 and drag over the part you want. The capture goes to the clipboard. Then open Calppak.

On iPhone and iPad, take the screenshot as usual, then tap Choose Screenshot in Calppak. The system photo picker opens, and Calppak only sees the picture you pick.

Why do some event names look rough?

Without Apple Intelligence, names come from the words next to each date. That happens when the device doesn't support Apple Intelligence, when it's turned off in Settings, while it's still getting ready, or when it doesn't read the language yet.

Dates are still found the same way, and you can fix any name before adding.

What counts as one free add?

Each time you add events to your calendar or save an .ics file counts once, however many events it holds. Finding and checking events is always free.

Your Mac, iPhone and iPad share the 10 free adds when they use the same Apple Account, and the count stays the same if you reinstall.

Which calendars can I add to?

Any calendar you can edit on this device, including iCloud, Google and Exchange accounts added in Settings.

Calendars you can't edit, like subscribed calendars, can't take new events. To use another calendar app, export an .ics file.

Can I take events back?

Right after adding, tap Undo in the message that appears. Later, delete them in the Calendar app.

Do I pay again on another device?

No. A plan bought on your Mac, iPhone or iPad works on all of them with the same Apple Account. If it doesn't show up on a new device, tap Restore Purchases in the app.

The 10 free adds are shared across them too.
