1. 약관의 목적

본 약관은 ForgeLab(이하 "개발자")이 제공하는 iOS 애플리케이션 Toki(토키, 이하 "앱")의 이용 조건을 규정합니다. 앱을 설치하고 사용함으로써 본 약관에 동의한 것으로 간주됩니다.

2. 서비스의 내용

앱은 기기 내(온디바이스) 음성 인식과 번역을 이용한 실시간 음성 번역 기능을 제공합니다. 모든 처리는 사용자의 기기에서 이루어지며, 개발자는 별도의 온라인 서비스를 운영하지 않습니다.

3. 유료 기능 및 자동 갱신 구독

앱은 무료로 내려받을 수 있으며, 설치 후 처음 30분 동안은 실시간 번역을 포함한 모든 기능을 제한 없이 사용할 수 있습니다. 30분을 모두 사용한 뒤 새 번역을 시작하려면 자동 갱신 구독 Toki Pro가 필요합니다. 무료 사용 시간은 한 번만 제공되며, 사용한 시간은 기기와 사용자의 iCloud에 함께 기록되므로 앱을 삭제한 뒤 다시 설치하거나 같은 Apple 계정의 새 기기로 바꿔도 초기화되지 않습니다.

  • 구독 상품: Toki Pro 월간, Toki Pro 연간. 두 상품은 같은 기능을 제공하며 결제 주기만 다릅니다.
  • 제공 범위: 번역 시간 무제한. 1회 대화는 안전을 위해 최대 30분까지 이어지며, 끝나면 자동으로 저장됩니다.
  • 가격: 대한민국 기준 월간 2,900원, 연간 19,000원입니다. 국가와 통화에 따라 달라질 수 있으며, 실제 가격은 App Store에 표시된 금액이 기준입니다.
  • 결제: 구매를 확인하면 Apple 계정으로 청구됩니다. 모든 결제는 Apple의 App Store가 처리하며, 개발자는 결제 수단 정보를 수집하거나 보관하지 않습니다.
  • 자동 갱신: 현재 이용 기간이 끝나기 최소 24시간 전까지 해지하지 않으면 같은 기간, 같은 가격으로 자동 갱신되며, 갱신 요금은 기간이 끝나기 전 24시간 이내에 청구됩니다.
  • 해지와 관리: 기기의 설정 > Apple 계정 > 구독, 또는 앱 설정의 구독 관리에서 언제든 해지할 수 있습니다. 해지하더라도 이미 결제한 기간이 끝날 때까지 이용할 수 있습니다.
  • 복원: 같은 Apple 계정이라면 앱의 구매 복원으로 복원할 수 있으며, 앱을 다시 설치하면 자동으로 복원됩니다.
  • 구독하지 않는 경우: 무료 시간을 모두 사용했거나 구독이 끝나도, 저장된 대화 기록은 계속 열람하고 복사하고 공유할 수 있습니다.
  • 환불: 환불은 Apple의 정책과 절차에 따르며, Apple(reportaproblem.apple.com)에 직접 요청해야 합니다. 개발자는 환불을 직접 처리할 권한이 없습니다.
  • 가격 변경: 구독 가격이 변경되는 경우 Apple을 통해 미리 안내하며, 관련 법령과 Apple의 정책에 따라 필요한 경우 사용자의 동의를 받습니다.
  • Apple 표준 약관: 본 약관에서 정하지 않은 사항은 Apple의 표준 최종 사용자 사용권 계약(EULA)을 따릅니다.

4. 지식재산권

앱과 그에 포함된 디자인, 로고, 소프트웨어에 대한 권리는 개발자에게 있습니다. 사용자가 앱으로 생성한 번역 텍스트는 사용자에게 귀속되며, 자유롭게 사용할 수 있습니다.

5. 이용자의 책임

  • 앱을 관련 법령과 공서양속에 반하지 않는 범위에서 사용해야 합니다.
  • 타인의 대화를 동의 없이 인식하거나 기록하는 행위는 관할 법령에 따라 제한될 수 있으며, 그 책임은 사용자에게 있습니다.
  • 앱을 리버스 엔지니어링하거나 무단으로 복제, 재배포하는 행위는 금지됩니다.

6. 번역 결과의 한계

번역은 기계 번역으로 제공되며 정확성이나 완전성이 보장되지 않습니다. 의료, 법률, 안전 등 중요한 의사결정에 번역 결과를 단독 근거로 사용하지 마세요. 번역 결과 사용으로 발생한 결과에 대한 책임은 사용자에게 있습니다.

7. 보증의 부인 및 책임 제한

앱은 "있는 그대로(AS IS)" 제공됩니다. 개발자는 법령이 허용하는 최대 범위 내에서, 앱 사용 또는 사용 불능으로 인해 발생하는 직접 또는 간접 손해에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다.

8. 서비스의 변경 및 중단

개발자는 앱의 기능을 사전 고지 없이 변경하거나 배포를 중단할 수 있습니다. 앱은 오프라인으로 동작하므로, 배포 중단 이후에도 설치된 앱은 계속 사용할 수 있습니다.

9. 약관의 변경

본 약관이 변경되는 경우 이 페이지를 통해 공지하며, 변경 후에도 앱을 계속 사용하는 경우 변경된 약관에 동의한 것으로 봅니다.

10. 준거법

본 약관은 대한민국 법률에 따라 해석됩니다.

1. Purpose

These terms govern your use of Toki ("the app"), an iOS application provided by ForgeLab ("the developer"). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms.

2. The Service

The app provides live voice translation using on-device speech recognition and translation. All processing happens on your device; the developer operates no online service.

3. Paid Features & Auto-Renewable Subscription

The app is free to download, and every feature, including live translation, is fully available for your first 30 minutes. After those 30 minutes, starting a new translation requires Toki Pro, an auto-renewable subscription. The free time is provided once. The time used is recorded on your device and in your iCloud, so it is not restored by deleting and reinstalling the app or by moving to a new device on the same Apple Account.

  • Plans: Toki Pro Monthly and Toki Pro Yearly. Both offer the same features and differ only in billing period.
  • What it includes: unlimited translation time. Each conversation runs for up to 30 minutes as a safety limit and is saved automatically.
  • Price: prices are shown in the App Store and may vary by country and currency. In South Korea they are KRW 2,900 per month and KRW 19,000 per year.
  • Payment: payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store; the developer never collects or stores payment details.
  • Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically for the same period at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • Cancellation: cancel anytime in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions on your device, or from Manage Subscription in the app's settings. After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Restore: use Restore Purchases in the app on any device signed in to the same Apple Account. Reinstalling the app restores your subscription automatically.
  • Without a subscription: once the free time is used up or a subscription ends, you can still read, copy and share every saved conversation.
  • Refunds: refunds follow Apple's policies and must be requested from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com). The developer cannot issue refunds directly.
  • Price changes: any change to subscription prices will be announced in advance through Apple, and your consent will be requested where required by law or Apple's policies.
  • Apple's standard terms: anything not covered by these terms is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

4. Intellectual Property

The app, its design, logo, and software remain the property of the developer. Translations you create with the app belong to you and may be used freely.

5. User Responsibilities

  • Use the app in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Recognizing or recording other people's conversations without consent may be restricted in your jurisdiction; you are responsible for such use.
  • Reverse engineering or unauthorized redistribution of the app is prohibited.

6. Translation Accuracy

Translations are machine-generated and provided without any guarantee of accuracy or completeness. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for medical, legal, safety, or other critical decisions.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "AS IS". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app.

8. Changes & Discontinuation

The developer may change app features or discontinue distribution without prior notice. Because the app works offline, installed copies continue to function after discontinuation.

9. Changes to These Terms

Updates to these terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
