1. 서비스 개요

육공공(이하 "앱")은 텝스(TEPS) 시험 대비 영어 어휘 학습을 돕기 위해 독립적으로 개발된 iOS 애플리케이션입니다. 앱은 서울대학교 TEPS관리위원회와 무관합니다. 앱은 레벨(점수대)별 학습 콘텐츠를 제공하며, 레벨은 ~326, 327-452, 453-525, 526-600의 네 점수대(New TEPS 공인 등급 기준)입니다. 각 레벨의 단어는 100단어 단위의 책(권)으로 묶여 있고, 레벨마다 1권은 무료로, 나머지 권은 앱 내 구매(이용권)를 통해 이용할 수 있습니다.

2. 무료 이용 범위와 앱 내 구매

  • 무료 범위: 사용자가 선택한 레벨의 1권 전체(10챕터, 100단어) 를 무료로 이용할 수 있습니다. 회독, 모름 단어 복습, 3초 퀴즈, 레벨 테스트 등 앱의 기능은 무료 범위 안에서 제한 없이 동작하며, 기능별 추가 결제는 없습니다.
  • 유료 범위: 2권부터 이용하려면 이용권이 필요합니다. 이용권은 연간 구독, 월간 구독, 평생 이용권 중 하나이며, 어느 것이든 4개 레벨의 모든 권이 전부 열립니다. 무료 체험 기간은 제공하지 않습니다.
  • 무료로 열리는 챕터 수는 콘텐츠 구성에 따라 변경될 수 있으며, 변경 시 앱 내 표기를 기준으로 합니다. 이미 구매한 이용권의 범위는 축소되지 않습니다.
  • 자동 갱신 구독(월간, 연간): 현재 구독 기간이 끝나기 24시간 전까지 해지하지 않으면 같은 기간과 같은 가격으로 자동 갱신되며, 갱신 대금은 기간 종료 전 24시간 이내에 사용자의 Apple 계정에 청구됩니다. 해지는 iOS 설정 > Apple 계정 > 구독에서 언제든 할 수 있고, 해지하더라도 이미 결제한 기간이 끝날 때까지 계속 이용할 수 있습니다. 앱을 삭제하는 것만으로는 구독이 해지되지 않습니다.
  • 평생 이용권: 1회 결제로 영구적으로 이용하는 비소모성(Non-Consumable) 상품입니다. 자동 갱신되지 않으며 추가 결제가 발생하지 않습니다.
  • 가격 변경: 구독 가격을 변경할 경우 Apple의 정책에 따라 사전에 고지하며, 인상된 가격은 기존 구독자의 동의 없이 적용되지 않습니다.
  • 판매 가격은 App Store에 표시된 금액을 기준으로 하며, 국가와 환율, 프로모션에 따라 다를 수 있습니다.
  • 결제는 사용자의 Apple 계정을 통해 처리되며, 별도의 회원가입이나 로그인은 필요하지 않습니다.
  • 구매 내역은 동일한 Apple 계정으로 로그인된 다른 기기 또는 앱 재설치 시 "구매 복원" 기능으로 복원할 수 있습니다.
  • 환불은 Apple App Store의 환불 정책을 따르며, 구독 환불 역시 동일합니다. 개발자가 직접 환불을 처리할 수 없으며, 환불 요청은 reportaproblem.apple.com 에서 하실 수 있습니다.

3. 학습 데이터

  • 학습 진도, 회독 수, 단어 암기 상태 등의 학습 기록은 사용자의 기기 및 사용자의 iCloud 계정(키-값 저장소)에 저장됩니다.
  • 개발자는 사용자의 학습 데이터를 별도의 서버에 수집하거나 저장하지 않습니다.
  • 앱 내 "학습 데이터 초기화"를 실행하면 기기와 iCloud의 학습 기록이 모두 삭제되며, 이 작업은 되돌릴 수 없습니다.

4. 콘텐츠

  • 앱의 학습 콘텐츠는 네트워크를 통해 다운로드되며 기기에 캐시됩니다.
  • 콘텐츠는 사전 고지 없이 추가되거나 수정될 수 있습니다.
  • TEPS는 서울대학교 TEPS관리위원회의 등록 상표입니다. 본 앱은 "시험 대비"라는 서비스의 목적을 설명하기 위한 서술적 용도로만 상표를 언급하며, 서울대학교 TEPS관리위원회와 무관하고 서울대학교 TEPS관리위원회의 제휴나 보증, 승인을 받지 않았습니다.
  • 모든 학습 콘텐츠는 자체 제작이며, 실제 시험의 기출문제를 포함하지 않습니다.

5. 면책

  • 앱은 학습 보조 도구이며, 특정 시험 점수의 달성을 보장하지 않습니다.
  • 네트워크 장애 등으로 인한 일시적인 콘텐츠 이용 제한에 대해 개발자는 책임을 지지 않습니다. 단, 이미 다운로드된 콘텐츠는 오프라인에서도 이용할 수 있습니다.

6. 약관의 변경

본 약관은 필요 시 변경될 수 있으며, 변경 사항은 본 페이지를 통해 공지됩니다.

7. 준거법 및 분쟁 해결

이 약관은 대한민국 법을 준거법으로 합니다. 앱 이용과 관련한 분쟁은 먼저 아래 이메일로 알려 주시면 성실히 협의합니다. 협의로 해결되지 않는 분쟁의 소송은 민사소송법이 정한 관할 법원에 제기하되, 관련 법령이 달리 정하지 않는 한 개발자의 사업장 소재지를 관할하는 법원을 제1심 관할 법원으로 합니다. 이 약관의 일부가 무효로 판단되더라도 나머지 조항의 효력에는 영향이 없습니다.

1. Service Overview

Six Hundred ("the App") is an independently developed iOS application that helps users study English vocabulary in preparation for the TEPS test. The App is not affiliated with the Seoul National University TEPS Council. The App provides study content organized by level (score band), and there are four levels based on the New TEPS official grades: up to 326, 327-452, 453-525 and 526-600. Within each level the words are grouped into numbered books of 100 words; the first book of each level is free, and the remaining books can be unlocked through an in-app purchase (a pass).

2. Free Tier and In-App Purchases

  • Free tier: book 1 of the level you choose (10 chapters, 100 words) is free in full. Every feature, including rounds, weak-word review, the 3-second quiz and the level test, works without limits inside the free tier, and no feature is sold separately.
  • Paid tier: books from the second one onward require a pass: a yearly subscription, a monthly subscription, or a lifetime pass. Each of them unlocks every book across the four levels. No free trial is offered.
  • The number of free chapters may change with the content lineup; the in-app label is authoritative. A pass you have already bought is never reduced in scope.
  • Auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly, yearly): Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically for the same period at the same price, and the renewal is charged to your Apple Account within 24 hours before the period ends. You can cancel at any time in iOS Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions and keep access until the paid period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Lifetime pass: a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It never renews and carries no further charges.
  • Price changes: If a subscription price changes we give advance notice per Apple's policy; an increased price never applies to existing subscribers without their consent.
  • Prices are those shown in the App Store and may vary by country, exchange rate and promotion.
  • Payment is handled through your Apple Account; no sign-up or sign-in is required.
  • Purchases can be restored on another device signed in with the same Apple Account, or after reinstalling, with "Restore Purchases".
  • Refunds, including subscription refunds, follow Apple's App Store refund policy. The developer cannot process refunds directly; requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.

3. Study Data

  • Study records such as progress, round counts and word memorization states are stored on your device and in your own iCloud account (key-value store).
  • The developer does not collect or store your study data on any separate server.
  • Running "Reset Study Data" inside the App deletes the study record from both the device and iCloud. This action cannot be undone.

4. Content

  • Study content is downloaded over the network and cached on the device.
  • Content may be added or modified without prior notice.
  • TEPS is a registered trademark of the TEPS Council of Seoul National University. The mark is used solely in a descriptive (nominative) manner to indicate the purpose of the App, which is test preparation. This App is not affiliated with, endorsed, or approved by 서울대학교 TEPS관리위원회.
  • All study content is originally created and does not include actual test questions.

5. Disclaimer

  • The App is a study aid and does not guarantee any specific test score.
  • The developer is not liable for temporary content unavailability caused by network failures. Content already downloaded remains available offline.

6. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated when necessary. Changes will be announced on this page.

7. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If a dispute arises from your use of the App, please contact us first at the email below and we will discuss it in good faith. Any lawsuit over a dispute that cannot be settled by discussion shall be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act, and unless applicable law provides otherwise, the court with jurisdiction over the Developer's place of business shall be the court of first instance. If any part of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
