1. 서비스 소개

한 칸(Hankan, 이하 "앱")은 일본어능력시험 JLPT를 준비하는 한국어 사용자가 한자어의 읽기를 익히도록 돕는, 독립적으로 개발된 iOS 앱입니다. 앱은 JLPT를 시행하는 국제교류기금, 일본국제교육지원협회와 관계가 없습니다. 앱은 N5부터 N1까지의 JLPT 한자어 읽기 문제 4,311개와 표기 문제 3,354개, 한국어 한자음으로 읽기를 설명하는 받침 규칙, 한국 한자음으로 한자를 찾는 기능, 듣기 연습(칸 두드리기)을 제공합니다. 레벨마다 처음 50단어와 받침 규칙 전체는 무료이며, 나머지 단어는 앱 내 구입(이용권)으로 이용할 수 있습니다.

2. 무료 이용과 앱 내 구입

• 무료: 레벨마다 처음 50단어와 받침 규칙 전체. 무료 범위 안에서는 모든 기능을 제한 없이 쓸 수 있고 따로 파는 기능은 없습니다.
• 유료: 51번째 단어부터는 이용권이 필요합니다. 이용권은 월간 구독, 연간 구독, 평생 이용권 가운데 하나이며, 무엇이든 다섯 레벨의 모든 단어를 엽니다. 무료 체험은 없습니다.
• 이미 구입한 이용권의 범위는 줄어들지 않습니다.
• 자동 갱신 구독(월간, 연간): 현재 기간이 끝나기 최소 24시간 전에 해지하지 않으면 같은 기간, 같은 가격으로 갱신되며, 기간이 끝나기 전 24시간 안에 Apple 계정으로 결제됩니다. iOS 설정 > Apple 계정 > 구독에서 언제든 해지할 수 있고, 해지해도 결제한 기간이 끝날 때까지 이용할 수 있습니다. 앱을 삭제해도 구독은 해지되지 않습니다.
• 평생 이용권: 한 번만 결제하는 비소모성 상품입니다. 갱신되지 않고 추가 결제가 없습니다.
• 가격 변경: 구독 가격이 바뀌면 Apple의 정책에 따라 미리 알리며, 인상된 가격은 기존 구독자의 동의 없이 적용되지 않습니다.
• 가격은 App Store에 표시된 금액이며 국가, 환율, 프로모션에 따라 다를 수 있습니다.
• 결제는 Apple 계정으로 이루어지며 회원가입이나 로그인이 필요하지 않습니다.
• 같은 Apple 계정으로 로그인한 다른 기기나 앱을 다시 설치한 뒤에는 "구매 복원"으로 구입을 복원할 수 있습니다.
• 구독을 포함한 환불은 Apple App Store의 환불 정책을 따릅니다. 개발자는 환불을 직접 처리할 수 없으며, reportaproblem.apple.com에서 요청할 수 있습니다.

3. 학습 데이터

선택한 레벨, 회독과 단어별 학습 기록, 함정별 기록은 사용자의 기기와 본인의 iCloud 계정(키-값 저장소)에 저장됩니다. 개발자는 사용자의 학습 데이터를 어떤 서버에도 수집하거나 저장하지 않습니다. 앱의 "처음부터 다시"를 실행하면 학습 기록 전체가 지워지며 되돌릴 수 없습니다.

4. 콘텐츠, 규칙, 음성

• 모든 단어, 예문, 음성, 규칙은 앱 안에 들어 있으며 학습에 인터넷 연결이 필요하지 않습니다. 콘텐츠는 앱 업데이트로 추가되거나 수정될 수 있습니다.
• 단어와 예문을 읽는 음성은 사람이 녹음한 것이 아니라 AI 음성 모델로 미리 만든 것입니다. 일부 단어는 기기에 내장된 음성으로 읽습니다.
• 오답 보기는 시험의 출제 방식을 본떠 앱이 만든 것이며, 실제 기출문제가 아닙니다. 표기 문제에서 "없는 말"은 사전에 없는 한자 조합이라는 뜻입니다.
• 받침 규칙과 그 적중률은 앱에 담긴 JLPT 한자어를 대상으로 개발자가 측정한 값입니다. 규칙에는 예외가 있으며, 다른 단어나 문맥에서는 결과가 다를 수 있습니다.
• 한국 한자음은 유니코드 컨소시엄의 Unihan 데이터베이스(© Unicode, Inc., Unicode License v3)를 바탕으로 합니다.
• JLPT는 국제교류기금과 일본국제교육지원협회가 시행하는 시험입니다. 앱과 스토어 설명에서 "JLPT"는 콘텐츠가 대비하는 시험을 나타내기 위해서만 쓰였으며, 앱은 두 기관과 관계가 없고 후원, 보증, 승인을 받지 않았습니다.

5. 면책

앱은 학습 보조 도구이며 특정 레벨의 합격이나 점수를 보장하지 않습니다. 규칙의 적중률과 함정 기록, 칸 두드리기 결과는 연습을 돕는 참고치입니다.

6. 약관의 변경

이 약관은 필요할 때 바뀔 수 있으며, 변경 내용은 이 페이지에 알립니다.

7. 준거법과 분쟁

이 약관은 대한민국 법률을 따릅니다. 앱과 관련해 분쟁이 생기면 먼저 아래 이메일로 문의해 주시면 성실히 협의하겠습니다. 협의로 해결되지 않는 분쟁에 관한 소송은 민사소송법에 따른 관할 법원에 제기하며, 법령에 달리 정함이 없으면 개발자의 사업장 소재지를 관할하는 법원을 제1심 법원으로 합니다. 이 약관의 일부가 무효가 되더라도 나머지는 효력을 유지합니다.

1. About the service

Hankan (한 칸, "the App") is an independently developed iOS application that helps Korean speakers preparing for the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) learn how kanji words are read. The App is not affiliated with the Japan Foundation or Japan Educational Exchanges and Services, which administer the JLPT. The App provides 4,311 reading and 3,354 spelling questions on JLPT kanji words from N5 to N1, rules that explain the readings through the Korean reading of each kanji, a kanji look-up by Korean reading, and a listening drill (Tap the squares). The first 50 words of every level and all the rules are free; the other words are available through an in-app purchase (a pass).

2. Free use and in-app purchases

• Free: the first 50 words of every level and all the rules. Every feature works without limit inside the free range; no feature is sold separately.
• Paid: from the 51st word on, a pass is needed. A pass is a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription or a lifetime pass; any of them opens every word of all five levels. There is no free trial.
• The scope of a pass you have already bought is never reduced.
• Auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly, yearly): unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, a subscription renews for the same period at the same price, and your Apple account is charged within 24 hours before the period ends. You can cancel at any time in iOS Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions, and you keep access until the paid period ends. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Lifetime pass: a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It does not renew and there are no further charges.
• Price changes: subscription price changes are announced in advance under Apple's policies, and an increase is not applied to existing subscribers without their consent.
• Prices are those shown in the App Store and may vary by country, exchange rate and promotion.
• Payment is handled through your Apple account; no sign-up or login is required.
• Purchases can be restored with "Restore purchases" on another device signed in to the same Apple account, or after reinstalling the App.
• Refunds, including subscription refunds, follow the Apple App Store's refund policy. The Developer cannot process refunds directly; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

3. Study data

Your level, rounds, per-word records and trap records are stored on your device and in your own iCloud key-value storage. The Developer collects or stores none of your study data on any server. "Start over" in the App clears the whole study record and cannot be undone.

4. Content, rules and voice

• Every word, sentence, voice clip and rule is inside the App; studying needs no internet connection. Content may be added or corrected in App updates.
• The voice that reads words and sentences was not recorded by a person; it was made in advance with an AI voice model. A few words are read by the device's built-in voice.
• The wrong readings and spellings are made by the App after the way the exam sets its questions; they are not actual test questions. In spelling questions, "no such word" means a kanji combination no dictionary lists.
• The rules and their rates were measured by the Developer over the JLPT kanji words in the App. Rules have exceptions, and results may differ for other words or contexts.
• Korean readings of the kanji are based on the Unicode Consortium's Unihan database (© Unicode, Inc., Unicode License v3).
• The JLPT is administered by the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services. "JLPT" is used in the App and its store listing only to say which test the content prepares for; the App is not affiliated with, sponsored, endorsed or approved by either organization.

5. Disclaimer

The App is a study aid and does not guarantee passing any level or any score. Rule rates, trap records and Tap the squares results are practice aids.

6. Changes to these terms

These terms may change when needed; changes are posted on this page.

7. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If a dispute arises about the App, please first contact the Developer by the email below; we will work it out in good faith. Lawsuits over disputes not resolved that way are brought in the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act and, unless the law provides otherwise, the court with jurisdiction over the Developer's place of business is the court of first instance. If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest remains in effect.
